Class Dream
My dreams like to keep me on edge. I had one of those “Oh
no, I haven’t attended class in weeks” dreams. There I am, sitting at, what I
assume to be, my desk. The teacher is surprised. “I honestly thought you
dropped my class, what with how long you’ve been gone and all the work you
missed.” Great, I’m going to fail :/ My father’s going to do me in just like he
did my little brother. Oh, you haven’t seen my little brother? Neither have the
police.
The teacher starts handing out the quiz paper, face down, based on the homework we had during the weekend. I’ve got to at least try. I’m a smart guy. I flip the page over. “Q1: What did the voice actor, #!@#$, say his number one influence was at this weekend’s Anime Con?” Anime Con? I didn’t go to any Con this weekend. I raise my hand and inform the teacher that I think I got the wrong paper. “The homework was to go to Anime Con this weekend. It was a fun assignment.” -_- Well I tried my best. You know what that got me. No, not a 0. Clearly your standards are too high. I got negative points. Evidently, the voice actor’s number one influence in life was not “Huge fuckin anime tiddies”.

After the quiz the teacher had more “fun” for us. Wow, more
fun than a quiz. Be still my beating heart. “Since ALMOST everyone in the class
aced the quiz, we’re taking the day off. Nature hike.” She said, to cheers from
all the Utahns around me. Figures. Now I see why I never come to class. The
work here is literally the thing I hate the most: “Go outside”.
