Drive-By
Sometimes, life comes at you weird. Our house has our parking space in the back. Cars don’t really come back here unless they’re picking or dropping someone off (assuming the person driving already doesn’t live here of course.). But today, we got a visitor. A car drove back and turned 270 degrees. They drove right into a cinder block that had a flower pot on it, knocking over the pot and breaking it. They paused, saw what they had done and then reversed and sped off. I’ve heard of drive-by shootings but typically the thing you’re aiming for is a person, not a flower. To be fair, this is Utah so weird stuff just happens because we’re the Florida of the Rocky Mountains. So you get used to it.
A few minutes later our landlord tells us that he was expecting a potential tenant to show up to check out the house but he canceled last minute.
