Russian Royalty

 

Do you ever hear something and wonder how they came to such a conclusion? I heard Conspiracy Theorist yesterday talking to someone on the phone while I was refilling my water mug.

“I have Russian monarchy in my blood. So, I know all about Russian history.”

I don’t think that’s how knowing history works. Never mind the fact that the communists killed the entire monarchy line back when they took over. And here’s the thing, he’s talking about current events, between Russia and Ukraine. So, even if historical memories were passed down through genes and this guy had a connection to it, how would people who lived prior to the 20th century be any help? Their knowledge on the Cossacks isn’t going to help much here. So, even if we were using his own logic on this, it double doesn’t make sense!

It’s the month of October. Which means it’s the season of scary stuff. Hauntings, Death and, worst of all, politics (if you screamed, that was probably your neighbor finally snapping from all the advertisements they’ve been getting informing them that a politician’s political opponent ate babies and didn’t even have the common courtesy of saying grace beforehand. I might have a slight problem.

  Me: So, back on September 20th, I weighed in at 165 when I got on the scale for a check up at the doctor. I bought a scale to keep track of it at home. This scale says I'm at 200.   I asked her how her Halloween was and if she did anything fun. She replied: it was fun. Not sure what “it” she did that was fun but at least she had some.   If you’re asking “Why did you ask her how her Halloween was in December?” there’s a good answer to your question. I didn’t. I asked how her Halloween was in November, specifically November 1 st . It just took her a month to get back to me. 3 words took her 30 days to write.
