More from Conspiracy
ugh
another hour gone
ok, so he thinks a president can just write laws
via executive order
and no one would know
I'm trying to explain someone would know because someone needs to be following those orders
and if it's a big order, more people would notice
and he thinks otherwise
no one would notice
Obama had open borders and no one noticed
so I explained open borders would mean you could freely travel to and from
customs and borders would know
and they would find a sympathetic ear in Fox News
I explained what open borders were, it would be like you could easily travel to idaho and back.
he admitted that it wasn't that open borders, but a different kind of open borders
one where we arrest and process people, then send them to court
so....not open borders.
and we jump around so much
all this started with him being angry at the WEF wanting us to eat bugs. I have no idea
And we ended with Biden wanting WW3 because Russia paid him. "Remember the Russian collusion?" No. "You're pretending but you know!" I remember Trump was accused of it. "Yes!" But he's not Biden. "Who do you think paid for that? The dossier?" Clinton. "Yes." Ok. So, how is that Biden getting paid by Russia? "I'm just saying there are rich powerful people who want war. And they don't care what we want."
And he knows what he's saying is true. "I hear people who were silenced by the news on bitchute." And what they're saying is true? "Well, other people start saying the same thing." So if a bunch of people say the same thing, that makes it true?" "I know you're trying to get me. Not gonna work. Bye. Bye. Bye." He starts walking away, gets to the hallway. Ok, but you know what I said was right. People saying stuff doesn't make it true. "Ok, but that doesn't make them wrong." You're not wrong. Maybe we shouldn't believe everything we read or see on bitchute.
and on and on
oh my god.
He tells me to do my own research. He can't tell me everything. But surely someone who claims to know would be able to say what law he talks about. "They made a law" is vague. "I read it!"
Even a suggestion like maybe he didn't understand the law or misread it gets met with a "No."
No wonder no one in his family likes talking to him. He insists what he's saying is right but can't admit that maybe he knows less than what he thinks
even when you explain how something works, it doesn't deter
"it just works"
He is a literal walking dunning-krueger
It seems like their research is watching some 3 minute tiktok
.
I assume it's 3 minutes. Conspiracy told me the tiktoks can't exceed 3 minutes.
Is that the limit? I wouldn't know. I don't know tiktok
but 3 minutes means you need to condense a lot.
which explains why he cannot explain anything.
Very basic thinking
Obama can open borders and no one will notice
until you point out that surely border guards would know
otherwise, they're still doing their job
ok, they know the world goes along as usual, but also a massive shift happens
that no one notices
it works in story telling because it makes for a good story, right
whereas in reality, things would go horrifically wrong
Oh, we also talked about Tesla. He said he came up with the
idea for converting the kinetic energy from braking to charging up the battery.
I told him other people made it work.
"Yeah, but I gave them the idea."
Lots of people had that idea for batteries. But having an idea and actually
doing the work to getting it to function are two different things.
"People didn't talk about this until 2013. I told Tesla to do it."
You talked to the people designing the brakes?
"Well. No."
So there's no contact between you and the people who are making it work? So,
you didn't come up with that.
"I'm not agreeing or disagreeing with this. Let's leave it at that."
That was the closest I came to getting him to admitting he was wrong.
Wait, did I mention the climate change stuff? Oh, he pretended not to care.
“So what if temperatures increase by 1 degree a year. It’s just 1 degree.”
I was wowed by this. Because for someone who claimed to be a
big picture guy, he sure didn’t think this one through, 1 degree a year Utah
going from 100 degree summer, to 110 in a decade and Death Valley temps of 120
in two. I explained to him how awful this would be for us living in Utah.
”Well, that’s why we have free agency. We chose to live here.”
So, I asked him if he would live here.
”No, I’d move to colder places.”
So heading north?
”South.”
?_?
”To Hawaii or California.”
The liberal states he hates are going to be his haven. So I ask him if that’s
the plan, just move everyone to Hawaii?
”No. People have free agency, like I said. They can choose.”
But you understand why having millions of people either move or die might be a slight
cause of concern, right?
So he eventually agreed that climate change was a thing but that sometimes
things went too far. But he’s terrible when it comes to thinking long-term. Very
poor big picture thinking. But that’s what happens when you assume something
small doesn’t matter. The details matter, because that’s how things work.
Surely someone working in an Amazon Warehouse understands that. But he doesn’t.
P.S. He came home and apologized to me for our argument. I told him we were just talking. No need to apologize. He said he had to take off to do Door Dash. He's behind on rent so he needs the money. I sympathized with him. This is the first time he admitted money troubles to me. All the other times I just overheard and told you. But, again, another example of him not thinking things through. Struggling to afford $400 today but his plan for 120 degree Utah is to move to a place with colder weather with I guess some money he magically earns a lot of between now and then, I guess.

"Yeah, but it takes an average of 10 years to get to the Supreme Court. By that time, the president is gone."
Yeah, if our system worked like that, it would be pretty dumb. But the Supreme Court decides what they want to handle and they expedite situations involving the president like this. It's how Biden's vaccine mandate got overturned and we didn't have to wait until 2030 for that.
"I took civics in high school. I know how things work."
That's it. That's his entire knowledge of how things work. A single class he took over 2 decades ago and now he's the expert on exactly how the government functions on every single level. Presidents can make new laws and secretly so no one notices. Don't try and bring up that if no one knows, then who is following the order? Clearly the people involved at each level have to know. This isn't even a civics thing, this is a logic thing.
